Nominations Tuesday, May 1, 2018 to Friday, July 27, 2018

Nomination forms may be filed by candidates prior to Nomination Day, at any time when the Township Clerk's office is open (Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), exclusive of statutory holidays.

On Nomination Day, July 27, 2018, nomination forms may be filed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

NOTE: A new change has been implemented for the 2018 Municipal Election under the Municipal Elections Modernization Act (MEMA). Candidates seeking office for Municipal Council will have to have their nomination paper endorsed by at least 25 individuals who are eligible to vote within the Township of Chatsworth and are due at the time of nomination filing.

Please contact the Clerk's Office to book an appointment to file your nomination papers or to register as a thrid party candidate.

The information sessions are free and open to anyone considering running in the 2018 municipal or school board election. The sessions will include information from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) and staff of Grey County. Staff from each member municipality will be available to answer questions and provide additional information.
