SOLID WASTE/HOUSEHOLD WASTE INFORMATION

All Waste must be set out on the MAILBOX SIDE of the roadway on the correct Waste pickup days. If you live on Highway 6 and/or 10 or you live within a Hamlet area then your waste pickup should be placed at the end of your laneway.

SULLIVAN Side Road 5 between Con 4 & 6  
  Winter Hours: Mon & Sat 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
  Summer Hours: Mon & Sat 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
 
HOLLAND North of Markdale on East side of Hwy 10
  Winter Hours: Mon 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
  Summer Hours: Sat 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
    Mon 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Sat 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

RECYCLING

All recycling materials (plastics, glass etc.) MUST BE RINSED out or the Recycling Contractor will not pick the recycling materials up.

All recycling must be set out on the MAILBOX SIDE of the road unless you are situated on Highway 6 and/or 10 or live in a Hamlet area. In these cases, the recycling is set out at the end of your laneway. The contractors will not pick up recycling that has been placed out on the wrong side of the road.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE

Household hazardous waste days are open to the residents of the Township of Chatsworth and are held in the City of Owen Sound.

                                                                      1900 20th Street East (Industrial Park)
                                    HOURS:                      9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Rain or Shine)
