Grey County OPP - Policing Services

The Township of Chatsworth provides Policing services to our residents through a policing contract with the Ontario Provincial Police.
As part of the requirement of providing policing the Province of Ontario also mandates that the municipality must have a municipal Police Services Board.
The Township of Chatsworth Police Services Board consists of three members.
Chairman: Bob Elliot (Civilian appointed member)
Vice Chairman: Frank Beirnes(Provincial Member)
Board Member: Cornelius Vlielander (Municipal Member)
OPP Detachment: Grey County OPP
OPP Detachment Commander: Inspector Mark Van Landuyt
Meetings:
Meetings are held in the Council Chambers of the Township of Chatsworth Administrative Office.
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every other month. Meetings start and 10:00 a.m. and are scheduled starting the third (3rd) Thursday of February of each year.
Any change that occurs in scheduled meeting dates will be advertised on the Website and at the township municipal office.
